Jamie graduated from Durham University with a BSc in Psychology before joining a small search firm focusing on the Financial Services recruitment industry.  After being instrumental in the business successfully growing three-fold, he was approached directly by an Investment Banking search firm focusing on international hires in the UK and Asia Pacific to head up senior searches involving relocation.

He joined Hutton’s Technology practice at its inception when, due to client demand, it emerged from the quant division to form a distinct functional capability, although close cooperation and overlap continue. 

He has managed  full search cycles from research through to execution on mandates at the MD/Global Head level to SVP level.
